Did you know that on this day in 1877 Rutherford H Did you know that on this day in 1877 Rutherford Hayes had the first phone installed in the White House's telegraph room? The phone number - 1! He didn't receive many calls though, as phone service was just starting. (President Hayes was considered tech-savvy.) It wasn't until 50 years later that President Hoover had a phone installed in the Oval office. 
Most of us cannot remember a time without cell phones. Some of us can remember a time when phones were still attached to the wall. Then there are a few who may remember when the phone line was shared among neighbors - the party line. 
The phone has a wonderful way to connect us. It has evolved greatly over the last 145 years. Yet a device meant to connect has also been a distraction causing a disconnect too. (How often do you see people looking at their phones instead of the person sitting across from them at a restaurant?) 
Thankfully we don't need a phone to connect with our Heavenly Father! 🙏 Also, the reception never drops when we talk with Him. 💗 When is the last time you called out to God? If it's been a while, His number is still the same, and the line is never busy. Reach out to Him and connect today.

At SJM Church, we incorporate giving of tithes and offerings into our Sunday morning worship.
If you missed Sunday worship and still wish to give, you may bring it in during office hours to the main office, or send in the mail (15988 Road 4, Pandora, Ohio 45877).

Give via E-Check

This is a great way without processing fees to have a reoccurring giving setup. To give via e-check you need to set this option up with your bank.

Text to Give

One of the ways you are able to give is by our “Text to Give” option.

FIRST TIME TEXTING YOUR GIFT?

Just text “SJMGIVE” to 45777
1. Tap the link that is texted back
2. Tap SIGN IN and then REGISTER FOR AN ACCOUNT at the bottom of the screen
3. Complete your contact information and click REGISTER
4. Enter the SECURE PIN that system texts you
5. Select the fund where you’d like to designate your gift, enter the donation amount, and payment information before completing your gift
6. *If you wish to have the gift be a recurring gift: Tap MAKE THIS GIFT RECURRING and select the start date and frequency
7. Tap SAVE ACCOUNT to save your payment information for future gifts

After this one-time registration, you can give in seconds without re-entering any of your information. Simply text the desired amount, SJMGIVE, and the fund keyword to the same text giving number [45777].

HELPFUL COMMANDS TO REMEMBER

EDIT – Make changes to your giving account

REFUND – Refund your last gift.
You MUST text SJMGIVE REFUND within 15 minutes to return the gift

KEYWORD – See a list of active keywords.
Keywords are the fund names where you can designate a gift
