July 10-17, 2021
Experience Alaska by taking a hike in the wilderness – kayak on a glacier-filled lake – see a moose or bear walk through camp – take in the sounds and view of Rainbow Glacier!
Experience God through His Creation and be challenged to grow in your personal relationship with God through the ministry of the camp’s dedicated team and staff, and special speaker.
Experience Serving working on camp projects, helping with community outreach, and supporting the youth ministry of the local churches to build the kingdom of God.
SJM Church, for many years, has supported and been very involved with Echo Ranch Bible Camp.
Echo Ranch Bible Camp in Juneau, Alaska, in 1964, emerged from a vision of Allen & Catherine McMurchie, who desired that their homestead would serve the youth of Southeast Alaska. Before the formation of Echo Ranch in 1948, the Presbyterian church in Haines, Alaska, started Rainbow Glacier Camp. The church operated RGC until 2017 when it was gifted to Echo Ranch Bible Camp. Now Echo Ranch Haines, it gives Haines and beyond a beautiful opportunity to experience God. The camp is located on Paradise Cove, just 6 miles from Haines.
This trip is for current 9th—12th Graders who want to go deeper in their faith as they share God’s love with others and are eager to get out of their comfort zone and “rough it” in Alaska.
